How to Submit
SUBMISSIONS :: Requirements

Any unsigned band or artist that receives no consistent commercial radio airplay is welcomed to submit music to GroundWaves. Please note the following:

  1. All artists must complete the GroundWaves Direct License Agreement prior to submitting their material.
  2. Submissions must be received in digital format. Acceptable formats include CDs, MP3 files and WAV files.
  3. Bands must be active at time of submission.
  4. Please include name and city of origin of your band, a brief biography or press kit and a URL for the band or its area on another service such as the MySpace, the Ultimate Band List, etc.
All submissions will be aired eventually, according to volume of submissions and conversion time necessary, if any. Submissions become property of GroundWaves and will not be returned. GroundWaves respects the copyrights of the artists and will not sell submissions or reproduce them for any purpose other than broadcasting on the wire. Inclusion of a song in a GroundWaves broadcast does not enable the downloading of that song to a listener's hard drive. GroundWaves will not grant access to or distribute individual song files to any party. Bands must continue to be active in order to remain in rotation on GroundWaves.
